Legitimate interest

Add only properties you own, manage, service, or otherwise have a legitimate business reason to monitor. PropNotice is not a surveillance tool for tracking individuals or unrelated buildings.

Prohibited

  • Harassing, intimidating or retaliating against tenants, occupants or complainants.
  • Using complaint data to identify or target the person who made a complaint.
  • Bulk re-publication or resale of source data in breach of the originating agency's terms.
  • Uploading malware, or content you have no right to store or share.
  • Sharing secure work-order links beyond the contractor performing the work.
  • Attempting to access another organization's data, or probing the service for vulnerabilities without written authorisation.
  • Automated scraping of the application, or use that degrades service for others.

Security research

We welcome good-faith vulnerability reports. Contact us before testing, do not access data that is not yours, and give us a reasonable window to remediate. [REVIEW] Add a formal safe harbour statement and a disclosure address.

Enforcement

We may suspend access for conduct that violates this policy, prioritising notice where it is safe and lawful to give it.
